WWC-ID
A 9-character (4-1-4) code for every location on Earth, eaxh referring to the center of a 1-m² square. Works online / offline without GPS - clear, speakable, easy to use for 8,3 billion people.

How it works online

• 👆 Tap on the map → Code appears
• 🔤 Enter Code → Location appears
• 🔤 Open in Organic Maps / CoMaps → Location Code appears
• 🔎 Search for an address → Code appears
• 🧭 Enter coordinates → (e. g. from Organic Maps) → Location appears

How it works offline

You must download the desired map areas in advance while you have an internet connection.
• 👆 Tap on the map → Code appears
• 🔤 Enter the Code → Location does not appear
• 🔤 Open in Organic Maps / CoMaps → Location appears
• 🔎 Search for an address in Organic Maps / CoMaps → Location + coordinates appear (e.g. 12.12234 34.5677)
• 🧭 Enter coordinates into the WWC-ID search field → WWC-ID appears

The 9-character code (4-1-4)

• 🌐 1–3= World region
• 🗺️ 4= Country field
• 🎯 5–9= Exact location (approx. 1 m²)

🌍 WWC-App installation

1. Open the Website, Menue WWC-App
2. Open the menu at the top/down bottom (⋮ orr ☰)
3. Select „Add to Home screen / Add to smartphone" Choose
4. The app will then start like a normal app - also offline.
